General information on your drinking water
The water treatment system serves approximately 400 persons. Raw water is supplied to the plant by one artesian well which contains one single pump. This raw water undergoes chlorination using Sodium Hypochlorite. The treated water is then stored in two reservoirs with a total usable volume of 597 m³. The drinking water is distributed to the community using two pumps. In the case of a fire or pressure lost on the network, two fuel pumps are available.
General information on your wastewater system
The wastewater collection system comprises of a sewage network and one lift station. All sewage is treated using a Bio disk before being deposited into the Ottawa River. The design flow for the biodisk is 180 m³/d.
