General information on your drinking water

Raw ground water is supplied from two (2) wells. Treatment is minimal and consists of a simple chlorination before distribution, The wells are protected by a building and the treated water is stored in underground reservoirs. Three distribution pumps and an emergency diesel motor pump supplies the community with it’s drinking water and fire protection.

General information on your wastewater system

The sewage collection system comprises one (1) lift station. The wastewater is pumped to the treatment site where it’s treated by two aerated lagoons. Finally, the treated water is deposited into a wetlands.
